Privacy inquiries

Please use the contact details above. A dedicated data protection officer is not appointed because the statutory requirements do not apply.

2. Hosting & server log files

When accessing this website, server log files are automatically collected (IP address, date and time of access, time zone, HTTP status code, referrer, user agent). Processing is necessary to ensure stable and secure operation (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted once it is no longer required for this purpose.

3. Strictly necessary cookies & sessions

Technically necessary cookies or session IDs are used for authenticated areas. Without them, sign-in and secure operation are not possible (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or, for contractual users, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). No analytics or marketing cookies are set.

4. Contact via e-mail

If you contact me by email, your details (e.g., name, email address, message content) are processed to handle your request. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for (pre-)contractual inquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted once the request is completed and no statutory retention duties apply.

5. Booking via Google Calendar

If you schedule time using the calendar link (calendar.app / Google Calendar), the details you submit—such as name, email address, and meeting time—are processed to arrange the appointment. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (scheduling and pre-contractual steps). Data is stored by Google in their infrastructure (EU/US as per Google policies); see Google privacy policy for details. If you prefer not to use the booking link, you can email hello@bobmolitor.io to arrange a time.

6. Payments via Stripe

When you pay for services through Stripe, the payment data you provide—such as name, email address, billing address, payment method details, and transaction metadata—is processed to handle invoicing and fraud prevention. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure payment processing and fraud prevention). Provider: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) and Stripe, Inc. (USA) as sub-processor. Data may be transferred to the USA based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See Stripe privacy policy for details. If you prefer another payment option (e.g., bank transfer), please contact hello@bobmolitor.io.

Note: Cancellation policy: Cancellations are free up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment; later cancellations or no-shows are fully charged. One complimentary rescheduling is available up to 24 hours before the call. Refunds are issued only within those timelines to the original payment method via Stripe. Please reach out in advance if you need assistance.

7. User accounts & authentication

User accounts can be created for protected areas. The data provided during registration (e.g., name, email address, password hash, two-factor information) is processed to fulfill the usage agreement and secure access (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is deleted when the account is terminated and no statutory retention duties apply.

8. Analytics (SimpleStats)

I use SimpleStats (simplestats.io), a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service hosted in the EU, to understand aggregate website usage. Only SimpleStats processes page views with the visited URL, referrer, user agent, and an anonymized or truncated IP address (for coarse location like country), plus timestamp. No marketing pixels are in use. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analyzing site performance and security). You can object to this processing at any time—please contact hello@bobmolitor.io.

9. Your rights

You have the statutory rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

10. Withdrawal of consent & objection

You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. You may also object to processing for reasons arising from your particular situation where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

11. Data security

The website is delivered over TLS. Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect your data against loss, manipulation, or unauthorized access.

12. Additional information on request

Detailed processing records or contact channels (e.g., direct phone line) are available upon request via hello@bobmolitor.io to honor data minimization principles.
